Sometimes I

Sometimes I walk around my grandfathers garden, peek through the mesh netting over the blueberry bushes, and stroll slowly through the apple orchard because it instantly transports me back to my carefree, childhood days.

Sometimes I buy myself more than I intend too when shopping, but since I typically only purchase things when they are on sale find it totally justifiable. After all its practically a crime to pass up a gray pinstripe jacket for $13, right?

Sometimes I realize how lucky I am to be blessed with an amazing grandfather. In addition to teaching me how to make cherry wine, he attended a function at a local bar with my friends and I one evening and today shared stories from his childhood that made me love him even more.

Sometimes I wear bright colors that don't really match but somehow sort of go together, like yellow and purple.

Sometimes I would rather spend time with my 15 and 13 year old cousins because sometimes I think they're more fun than my friends and they never fail to make me laugh.

Sometimes I wish that long weekends would never end.

Sometimes I am not so good at being hopeful and optimistic, occasionally falling a bit short.

Sometimes I wish I had a different relationship with some members of my family, but realize that I can't be the only one putting forth the effort, and sometimes its not worth the heart ache.

Sometimes I think life can't get any better than it already is, right now, in this moment.

Your turn, fill in the blank! Sometimes I ___________________________________________.
