Have You Seen My Mojo?

Or alternatively titled, Complete Randomness.

I seem to have lost the ability this week to write a coherent blog post and have sort of taken a brief hiatus.

I am, however, happy to report that my grad school application is VERY close to completion. After tomorrow all forms will have been given to the three incredibly kind people who agreed to write a letter of recommendation for me. A request for my undergraduate transcripts has been sent. And barring any sort of disaster, my application will be sent electronically today and supporting documents taken directly to the post office to be mailed after work. (HUGE shout out and thanks to a friend who proofread and edited my Statement of Career Goals in exchange for baked goods.) Very exciting, right? Oh, and I may or may not have taken a ball bat to my printer which insisted with an incredibly annoying series of beeps that I had a paper jam in the roller thingies (when in fact there was a big fat NOTHING jammed anywhere) while I was trying to print off envelopes. Stupid printer. Thank you to all of you who have left amazing comments, emails and messages for me. The blogging community continues to amaze me each and every day. I am truly honored to be a part of such a wonderful group of people.

In between beating my printer, baking kick ass brownies for some friends, continuing my Wii Rockband world tour with my bestest, and becoming overly ecstatic about my trip this weekend to the QVC Beauty Bash, I'm chalking this week up to spring fever. Melanie said I could.

Next week I will be back in full force with stories of my complete lack of gracefulness and the post about how much cleavage is really acceptable. At the very least, there will be fun pictures. No, no, no -- not of my cleavage, of my weekend road trip. Nora and I will also be tackling a joint Tumblr adventure that will hopefully be up and running next week at some point. So see, lots of good things to stick around for!

And be sure to come back tomorrow, Jessica is saving my blog this week with a great Lasting Impressions post.

I've done this before on the blog but since I seem to be lacking my mojo, let's do it again shall we? I have a feeling it will help the complete randomness I seem to be suffering from this week.

If you have a burning question that you've been wanting to ask, now's your chance. If you care to, leave a question and I'll answer it in an upcoming post...

Ready. Set. GO......

Congratulations on everything involving school!!! You are taking the leap and not letting anything hold you back! I thinks it's great! Thank you for the comments you left me about the cupcake business. I haven't figured out how to reply on Twitter using my blackberry...:( Have a great weekend and a great road trip!

I think you're allowed to lose your blogging mojo when you need to divert that energy to your application. So even though it doesn't seem like it on your blog, this week is still a success!

A QVC Beauty Bash? That
sounds like it'll be a
good time. No idea what it
consists of...but I like the
name!

Questions, questions. Umm...

Favorite drink of choice?
What do you do for a living?
What would you rather be doing?

Woot to almost being finished
the application!

Beauty Bash is this weekend? How fun! Have a great time.

I have still been writing posts lately, but they're not flowing at all. They've been taking me much longer to write than normal.

Good luck with the grad school application process. I know how that goes.

Oh boy, I'm at just about the same stage you are. I've got my letters of recommendation and my writing sample, all I need is to submit the application and mail all the stuff in!

Is Sandy going to go through all the cuteness of being a mom? :D NO, I don't want any puppies, but I'd be willing to... see their pictures :D

I know the feeling of not being able to write a coherent post, that's where I've been lately too. Hopefully we'll get out of the funk soon!

Also, I saw your tweet about the grad school app- Congratulations! That is huge! :)

Yay! I'm so excited for you! You are going to love grad school. I get so excited for people because you just learn so much, and not necessarily about the things you are supposed to learn.

Maybe I'm just happy to see other people rush the crazy-making club.
