Winter Lake Scenes

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.
~George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage

**Pictures taken by my brother on a frozen Lake Erie, out in the middle of the lake.

Those are unbelievably beautiful. There's a special beauty that comes with snow and frozen water. Nothing really matches it.

If only it weren't so damn cold, I would go out and enjoy it more.
