As you may or may not know, I am a huge fan of the Serenity Prayer. I was introduced to the prayer during college by my French professor who also happened to be a nun. Over the years, its brought me comfort and encouraged me to examine my life along the way. I even have a pendant that has the words engraved on it.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
The last line "...and the wisdom to know the difference" is absolutely beautiful. Knowing the difference is something I struggle with on a daily basis -- knowing what I can change and what I cannot change, knowing what I should do and what I shouldn't do, knowing what is best for me and what is best for someone else, knowing when to keep going and when I should stop. I really think that its a life long process. My answers aren't going to be the same as yours, nor should they be. Knowing the difference is something we all have to figure out for ourselves as we all go about our journeys.
So, here's to always knowing the difference!

Yeeei!!! Congrats Mandy!!! I'm also thikning on getting mine, but that would mean explainning my parents why I need a domain name, so I'm just going to wait a few more months until I get my own credit card "for emergencies". Well, getting a new domain IS an emergency. ;)
OK, now I want mine too!!! =)
Scary! No one wants to be mistaken for porn. LOL! Congrats on the new purchase.
I think I told you this already, but just in case, I love your new domain name! I'm still debating about the whole switching to Wordpress thing, but seeing how happy you are with this makes me second guess myself again.
Just wanted to stop by and say hi. How much did your domain cost, if you don't mind me asking?
i love that prayer/affirmation/poem too...
so what does that mean for your blog? When's the big move?
Congrats! Hey, I keep forgetting to ask you if you make money with having the ads on your blog. And no, I haven't made the whoopie pies...... yet. The whole filling thing with the marshmallow fluff doesn't sound nearly as good as the one with the egg whites. So now I'm struggling with what kind to make. Maybe a half batch of each.
thats great! what an adult thing to do for blog land!
Rock on!
That's a fantastic name! Props to Blogger for bringing things to light.
I think that is a perfect domain name. Good for you. Looking forward to reading.
Congrats on coming to a decision! I think it's beautiful!
I've been thinking about buying my own domain name too, but I have also been thinking about checking out Wordpress. Would I be able to switch there if I buy my domain from blogger???? Help me!!!!

I already told you how much I love the name, but I'll say it again. LOVE IT. And the meaning behind it...
What an absolutely beautiful story! I have always loved the Serenity Prayer as well. It's so comforting in times of stress. Great choice for your URL. I'm trying to "discover" my perfect URL since I'm tired of crazysayswhat.com. Any ideas for me?
Hmmm...was this a good pr0n site?
