For most of us, this weekend unofficially marks the end of summer. Kids have returned to school. The air is slightly cooler. In some areas leaves have already started changing and will soon be covering the ground. High school football is in full swing and college games kick off this weekend. I'm sad to see summer go, but am excited for fall.
I love when the air turns crisp and I can pull out hoodies and sweaters. Drink a cup of hot cider. Head to all the fall pumpkin and apple festivals. Help my grandfather make his homemade apple butter. Watch my favorite college football team. Drive downstate for the sole purpose of seeing the leaves change. What are your favorite things about fall?
I am heading to Columbus for an extended end of summer bash with the best buds and will be cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes as they open their season. Have a great Labor Day weekend!!
For all my OSU fans out there, what better way to kick off fall than with TBDBITL performing Script Ohio:

GO BUCKS!!!!!! Have fun!
Kim -- Thanks, you too! Script Ohio never gets old does it...
I don't have seasons... :(
We only have "dry season" (November-April, it doesn't rain) and "wet season" (May-October, it rains).
BUT, September and October are the worst rainning months, so we're expecting some bad rainning and then, boom! 6 months without rain and a lot of heat.
So, what can I expect for the "fall"? Rain, rain and more rain.
Ah, the beauties of Central America.
I love fall (and spring) but I really love fall when college football starts. Time to get the jeans and campus hoodie out and start screaming loud and proud. Woo! Go Badgers! Have a great weekend!
Andy-- no seasons? That would not make me happy. I love summer and fall, spring is ok, winter I loathe.
Babyjb -- WOOHOO! Ohio State plays them later this year I think! :-)
apparently when I am bored, I google:
TBDBITL
Which folks stands for... The Best Damn Band In the Land...
Who Knew? well, probably Mandy!
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
There are few things in life that I hate more than OSU football.
Go Blue! (even though we're, like, not that good anymore)
Jill -- sorry, should have added that! LOL.
Frank -- I'll try to warn you next time there is a mention of OSU football.
