Ennui

Yeah, thats french for BORED! Which is what I am this afternoon, I am also convinced that 5:00 will never come. Sure, I have things I could be doing like alphabetizing my files, or more specifically organizing them, then alphabetizing them. Instead I have piles and piles of papers and projects that are just dumped in my file cabinet drawers. I could update staff bios, but that would require more effort than I care to exert and most likely result in me thinking why in the hell does so and so have this job when they have a degree in that. I could clean off my desk, but then I would probably find some unforgotten task that I didn't complete that apparently everyone else has forgotten about too.

What have I done today? I read several blogs and caught up on my favorites. For once my google reader tells me I have no new blogs which sort of depresses me. I harassed a friend with emails while he was in harassment training (how's that for irony) with childish demands like come entertain me and click on the ads in my blog so I can get money. I read all about Boredom on Wikipedia. I played a game to give free rice to hungry people. I attempted to play a virtual rubix cube game, but soon found out I wasn't smart enough. I emailed just about every person on my contact list. I checked the People and TMZ websites no less than 100 times. I learned what my names secret meaning was, what my driving style said about me, what gemstone I should be, and what European city I should live in all based on the highly insightful quizzes from Blogthings. I was also going to attempt another photo survey but became seriously disturbed when a search of photos dealing with my last name returned an ungodly amount of photos involving women breastfeeding complete with nippalage.
