Merry Go Round

Remember being at the playground as a child and spinning on the merry go round? Sitting in the middle, your hands holding on to the cool metal bars as someone would spin you round and round, faster and faster. Your knuckles white from gripping the bars so hard so you wouldn't fly off. Closing your eyes, feeling completely centered but having an unsettling, uneasy feeling in your stomach because you know that the world was hurtling out of control around you. Opening your eyes and seeing all the colors blur around you, no one object clear.

When you wanted the merry go round to stop you either had to wait it out--spinning slower and slower until the world came to a rest and objects back into focus. Or you could stick your feet out, dragging them along the ground abruptly stopping the spinning and deal with the queasy feeling the went along with not allowing the spinning to stop in its own time.

I've been dealing with a situation for a few days and this is how I feel. Like I'm on a merry go round I have no control over. Its not a fun feeling. I want off the ride.

You always have something pretty and clever to say to me, but unfortunatley, I don't. Just telling you that it'll all get better. Everything has a solution. And, don't be too worried!
Kisses and hugs (I know you need them).

It'll be okay. Hold on tight and the spinning will slow down. It just takes time. Hang in there!
